Dr. Perry J Damiani
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Damiani has practiced full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for over twenty years. He has lived in the Victor Valley for all of this time and has enjoyed being an instrumental partipant in the dental community. Dr. Damiani has worked closely with all of the dentists and specialists in the area.
Dr. Damiani completed his dental training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston Massachusetts. There he attended both Harvard Medical School for two years followed by the School Of Dental Medicine.
A fellowship in Oral Surgery was completed at the Waukegan Naval Base in Waukegan Illinois, which focused his interest in the specialty.
Next, Dr. Damiani completed a fellowship in wound healing at the Shriner's Burn institution at Massachusetts General Hospital. This encompassed clinical work, research and defending a Master's dissertation with some of the most renown oral surgeons in the country.
Dr. Damiani was excepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of California, San Francisco. Here, he completed four rigerous years of residency concluding as chief resident for one clinical year.
Over the years Dr. Damiani has completed research study in multiple areas of interest. They have included bone degeneration in the elderly and the molecular processes involved in soft tissue wound breakdown and regeneration.
He was honored with many awards in the past. Of these, his greatest accomplishment was the achievement of a Junior Nobel Prize in Science received in Stockholm, Sweden.
